How to choose hydraulic breaker for excavator


In order for hydraulic breaker ‘s performance efficiency, extend the life , usually it should be consider the excvator specification and breaker ‘s output flow in back-up valve and pressure, etc

To Match of hydraulic breaker and excavator
it can be calculated by below formula
0.3 ≤ R · Wb / S · We ≤ 0.5
R – maximum breaking radius (mm)
S – half of the excavator track (mm)
Wb – breaker weight (kg)
We – Excavator Weight (kg)
On the calculated ratio is less than 0.3, that mean the breaker you choose is smaller, the breaker can easily be damaged; if the ratio is greater than 0.5, that mean breaker is bigger
In addition, we also consider the size of the connection between the breaker and excavator working device, and coordination of the hole, appropriate shaft ;hydraulic breaker required flow and pressure must be consistent with Excavator spare valve output flow and pressure

ZX450 24M demolition boom ship to Kazakhstan

 In Oct. 2012 we manufactured two sets of 24m Excavator Long Boom Arm for PC300-7 and it has been shipped to a Indian customer,

  In general,we configure 18m Long Reach Boom Stick for 30ton excavator model, but we can make longer boom arm through adding counterweight on rear of excavator if customer's project has requirement, so for 24m long reach booms, 3ton counterweight, bucket capacity is 0.4 cubic meters.

How to inspect long reach boom arm for excavator

when you get excavator long reach front in hand, we will have a impression from outlook, do you know how to it's good or bad quality?  we list some help tips for you reference. 



1 Reasonable structure excavator long reach front are designed on base of lever principle and stress analysis, it is wise and reasonable to reinforce some critical areas, such as hinges, and you can see multi-plate or gussets welded on these areas. most supplier designed stiffener plate inside of boom arm that play a important role for distribute stress and increase product lifetime.

2, Material used for boom arm: with many years of experiences of making long front,we think a kind of at least 350 Mpa steel is needed, and sometimes  higher strength material is required for big machine.

3, check welding, good welding line is evenly, 1-2cm high, and before welding,  bevelling steel plate that can increase welding area

4,paiting, good painting can protect steel from quick rusting that will extend product lifetime, it is also necessary to repaint if painting scratched during transportation.

5,Pin Hole: make sure pin hole is concentric circle, perpendicular to boom left and right size plates.

6,Hydraulic pipeline: all pipeline are absolutely clean and there is dust cap on pipe ends.
